Commission Minutes--July 15, 1996 1494 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JULY 15, 1996 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with members <br />present as follows: DOn Eckert, Alon Wieland, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. <br />Donna Schneider was absent. <br /> <br />m <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved <br />Mrs. Toussaint said the County Engineer asked the T.L. Stroh contract be pulled and will be <br />discussed at a later date. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Roughrider Detachment Marine Corps League; Nora Lutheran <br />Church Women <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve raffle permit for <br /> Roughrider Detachment #435 Marine Corps League to be held <br /> November 8, 1996, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, West Fargo, <br /> North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve raffle permit for <br />Nora WELCA to be held October 5, 1996, at Nora Lutheran Church, <br />Gardner, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel a.o_oroved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of-state travel <br /> for Rainer Lobitz to attend the Train the Trainer workshop for the <br /> Partnership Project on August 5-9, 1996, at Albuquerque, New Mexico. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />JUVENILE DETENTION, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of-state travel <br /> for Jennifer Maher, Susan Rudolph, Steve Larson and Shannon Wanner <br /> to attend the Fourth Annual Heartland Juvenile Services Institute on <br /> August 11-14, 1996 at Omaha, Nebraska. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
