Commission Minutes--May 20, 1996 1471 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 20, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Peppe¢' Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of.state travel for Nancy Pillen to Fergus Falls and Climax, MN on May 13, 1996 for transport and staffing for child in foster care placement. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Multiple Sclerosis Society_ MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant site authorization permit for National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Dakota Chapter to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 1996 through June 30, 1997 at the Wild Rice Bar and Grill, Wild Rice, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, Cities of Fargo and Kindred MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the Chairman and the County Auditor to sign eleven county deeds to the City of Fargo for tax-forfeited property; and to sign one county deed for tax-forfeited lot in the City of Kindred. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase of laser printer MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize Road Department to purchase a laser printer, at an estimated cost of $1,100,
