Commission Minutes--April 15, 1996 1456 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 15, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper~' Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. Bernie Ness was absent. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order a.oproved MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to move contract approval with the North Dakota Department of Transportation to the regular agenda for discussion. Motion carried. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEEK PROCLAMATION, April 21-27.1996 MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize chairman to sign proclamation of National County Government Week April 21-27, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLAT APPROVAL, Plat of Brinks Third Subdivision MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Cass County Board of Commissioners grant Final Plat approval to Brinks Third Subdivision, NE~/4 of Section 18, Township 138N, Range 49W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE PROPOSED LAND ACQUISITION, Hearing rescheduled MOTION, passed According to State's Attorney John Goff's opinion, and in order to meet advertising requirements for notice of a re-scheduled hearing, Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to re-schedule Board of County Commissioners hearing for April 29, 1996, at 10:00 AM in the Community Center, Tower City, ND concerning U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed land acquisition in Tower Township. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
