On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state <br />travel for Social Services employee Roger Flynn to attend staffing at <br />Gilfillan Center for child in foster care on April 4, 1996 in Bemidji, MN. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for State's Attorney Investigator, Dean Wawers, to attend <br /> homicide training in New York City from May 1-9, 1996. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state <br />travel for State's Attorney, John Goff, and employees Elisabeth Schlitz <br />and Judy Tollefson to attend the Minnesota Fraud Investigator's spring <br />conference in Deerwood, MN on May 7-10, 1996. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Rich Majerus, Sheriff's Department, to attend arson <br /> investigation training on April 22-May 3, 1996, in Emmitsburg, Maryland. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ELECTIONS, Polling places and hours set for 1996 Primary and General Elections <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to designate the polling <br /> places, according to the list provided by the county auditor, for the <br /> Primary and General Elections for 1996 and to set the polling hours as <br /> 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE <br /> <br />OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, County Deeds signed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the county <br />auditor and the vice chair to sign two county deeds for the purchase <br />of county property by Van Raden Properties, Inc.; and by Jerome and <br />Angela Brady.
