Minutes--January 2, 1996 1427 COMMISSIONERS JOINT MEETING; FARGO FIRE CODE UPDATE, Committee reports Ms. Johnson requested agenda items in the next couple of days for the joint meeting scheduled for January 18, 1996, between commissioners of Cass County and the cities of Fargo and West Fargo. A report was given by Ms. Johnson on a meeting with City of Fargo officials regarding fire code violations at the Courthouse in the District Court area. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. Mr. Ness asked Mr. Goff to verify at the next meeting that the City of Fargo's and Cass County's proposed curfew ordinances are the same. letters from North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding Casselton school crossing and bike trail from Fargo city limits to 88th Avenue South (memo from County Engineer Keith Berndt regarding bike trail); copy of letter from North Dakota Department of Human Services dated December 22, 1995 regarding reimbursement policies; copy of City of Fargo's proposed curfew ordinance as forwarded to the State's Attorney; copy of letter from County Engineer dated December 22, 1995 to Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments requesting their review of school bus loading/unloading practices along County Highway 17; memo from County Engineer regarding potential County Highway 20 improvement project; memo from Director of Equalization Frank Klein dated January 2, 1996 regarding agricultural valuation for 1996. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Ness and seconded by Mr. Wieland, the meeting was adjourned about 4:10 PM.
