Commission Minutes--November 20, 1995 1410 <br /> <br />16, <br /> <br />17, <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to change the re- <br />insurance individual stop-loss coverage from $20,000 to $65,000 and <br />change aggregate re-insurance coverage from 110% of expected claims <br />to 120% of expected claims, in order to realize a savings in the stop-loss <br />coverage in excess of $100,000 per year, this being effective January 1, <br />1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE; BURIAL COMMITTEE; HEALTH SURVEY; TOWNSHIP OFFICER'S <br />MEETING, Committee reports <br />Mr. Montplaisir said the Finance Committee discussed paying bills more often than once per month <br />because the new accounting system has more capabilities in this area. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schneider reported that the burial policy committee met last week and is sending a revised <br />burial policy to the State's Attorney for review. <br /> <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, worked out a program with Fargo Cass Public Health for a <br />wellness screening program in January for all employees. <br /> <br />Mr. Ness reminded commissioners of the Township Officer's Association meeting in Casselton at <br />7:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 1995. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file <br /> correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />copy of letter from County Engineer to Mayor of Horace regarding monthly electric costs of the <br />proposed traffic signal light at the intersection of Wall Avenue and County Road 17; <br />letter from Kaye Braaten encouraging membership in the National Association of Counties; <br />letter from Jim Thoreson, Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy, regarding government vehicle bids; <br />letter from Custer Huseby, Chairman of Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments, <br />and response from Commission Chairman regarding Brian Shorten's personnel matters; <br />copy of response from County Engineer to Jacob Gust regarding possible local participation in <br />County Road 20 improvements. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed <br /> On motion by Mre.
