Minutes--August 7, 1995 ]370 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ· <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 7, 1995 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Bernie Ness. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Qrder aPDroved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda with the following additions to the <br /> consent agenda: Motion carried. <br /> <br />· amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00--appointment <br /> Community Action Agency <br />· contracts--mosquito control and County Road 28 overlay <br />· final plat approval of Rademacher Subdivision <br />· Social Services emergency hire <br />· resolution of condolence to the family of Oscar Sondrall <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES RELOCATION, Letter of commendation MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br /> letter of commendation to county employees, named in the <br /> letter from Social Services Director Kathy Hogan, who <br /> assisted in relocating the Social Services department to <br /> the Juvenile Justice Center building addition, the move <br /> being completed the weekend of July 21-23, 1995. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. Mr. Wieland also <br /> suggested a letter of appreciation to the moving company. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT, Head Start buildina MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign <br /> application forms for Community Development Block Grant <br /> funds for installing an elevator in the Head Start building <br /> located at 57 11th Avenue North, Fargo, ND. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of July 17. 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt <br /> Personnel Policy Section 2.90, Lost Keys/Cards; to amend <br /> Personnel Policy Section 6.02, Americans with Disabilities <br /> Act (ADA), as distributed to Personnel Overview Committee <br /> members; and to amend Personnel Policy Section 6.00, <br /> Funeral Leave. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
