MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. wieland seconded to dissolve the Cass County Cemetery Authority Board. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Johnson said Blake Strehlow, Director of the Cass County Housing Authority, has been contacted about the vacancy on that board. Mr. Ness suggested advertising this position in the local newspaper also. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, to appoint Timothy J. Flakoll to the City of Fargo Planning and Zoning Commission to replace Don Puetz, who resigned; and to reappoint Jeff Nikle to the City of West Fargo Planning and Zoning Commission, both for five year terms beginning July 1, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. BUDGETING FOR PROPOSED SALARY INCREASES, Committee reports Mr. Montplaisir served on a department head salary committee along with Keith Berndt, Charlotte Sandvik and Don Rudnick. They made a recommendation, which was accepted by the department head group, for a 3% adjustment to the scale for 1996 budget purposes. It was the consensus of the County Commissioners to use the 3% figure in preparing 1996 budget figures for county departments. Mr. Montplaisir said department heads understand this does not constitute approval of any salary scale adjustments for the next budgeting year until the total budget is approved. COMMISSION MEETING CANCELED FOR JULY 3, 1995, QQmmittee reports Due to the 4th of July holiday and the lack of agenda items, other than voucher approval, Mr. Ness recommended canceling the July 3rd, 1995, County Commission meeting. This has been done in the past during the week of July 4th. MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to cancel the July 3, 1995, Cass County Commission meeting; and authorize Commissioner Alon Wieland and Chairman Bernie Ness to review and approve vouchers, with formal approval at the next regularly scheduled meeting on July 17, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
