Minutes--May 15, 1995 1335 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MAY 15, 1995 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Bernie Ness. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> order of the agenda with the following additions: Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />Sheriff's Department out-of-state travel (Majerus) <br />contract with Astech Corporation (seal coating county roads) <br />change order #E-3 for exterior lighting/Juvenile Justice Center <br />vehicle purchase/replacement for Sheriff's Department <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE/BINGO, F~mbden Community Club; Chaffee Community <br />Club; St. Benedict's Church MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> raffle permit for Embden Community Club to be held June 22, <br /> 1995, at Embden Center, Embden, ND. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br />bingo permit for Chaffee Community Club to be held June 10, <br />1995, at Chaffee Community Park, Chaffee, ND. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br />raffle permit for St. Benedict's Church to be held on July <br />9, 1995, and on September 17, 1995, at St. Benedict's <br />Church, Horace, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1995-9, Juvenile Justice building addition financing for <br />Social Services office space MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to adopt <br /> RESOLUTION #1995-9, PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF ~520,000 <br /> COUNTY OF CASS LIMITED TAX BUILDING FUND BONDS OF 1995, for <br /> the purpose of paying all or part of the cost to construct <br /> an addition to the Juvenile Justice Center building to be <br /> used for housing social services offices; said resolution <br /> on file in the Cass County Auditor's Office. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
