Minutes--April 3, 1995 1314 <br /> <br />ROAD ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of March 20, 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br /> County Road 17 project, subject to funding availability. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to replace bridge <br />at Sections 28 and 29 of Maple River Township and submit <br />this project for federal aid. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br />removal of bridge at Sections 26 and 35, Normanna Township <br />and authorize County Engineer to participate in an <br />alternate road improvement subject to following conditions: <br />1) county's participation limited to use of county labor <br />and equipment; 2) county's participation not to exceed 50% <br />of project cost or $10,000, whichever is less; and 3) <br />township supports bridge removal; and subject to a policy <br />to be developed regarding bridge removal. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br />purchase and erection of signs for future arterial corridor <br />roads. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of March 20, 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> classification of a field lieutenant to a field sergeant <br /> (from C51 to C43). On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to adopt a weapon <br />policy according to handout included with the agenda <br />packet, with revisions to include a reference to State Law <br />that only law enforcement officers, in the line of duty, <br />may possess weapons in government facilities and a revision <br />that the Sheriff may designate someone else to act as <br />qualifications administrator. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 2.80, Weapons Policy <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to amend <br /> Personnel Policy Manual Section 2.80, Weapons Policy.
