Minutes--April 3, 1995 1313 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> APRIL 3, 1995 <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE, Administered to County Auditor <br />Cecilia McCoullough from the Clerk of Court's Office administered the <br />Oath of Office to County Auditor Michael Montplaisir who was elected <br />November 8, 1994, for a new term beginning April, 1995. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:45 PM with four <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider <br />and Bernie Ness. Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda with the following additions to the <br /> consent agenda: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Social Services travel <br />contracts for road surfacing, board of prisoners <br />Dakota Department of Transportation resolution <br />purchase orders <br /> <br />and North <br /> <br />COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEEK PROCLAMATION, April 2-8,1995 <br />In conjunction with County Government Week, Cass County Commissioners <br />held a ceremonious ground breaking for the courthouse front entrance <br />remodeling project, which is scheduled to begin when weather permits. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign proclamation of National County Government <br /> Week, April 2-8, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATIONS, Approved for Harold Jordahl; Anton Rutten <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that abatement <br /> number 4003 for Harold Jordahl be approved as recommended <br /> by Stanley Township and the Director of Equalization. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that abatement <br />number 3997 for Anton Rutten be approved as recommended by <br />Stanley Township and the Director of Equalization.
