Minutes--March 6, 1995 1304 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 6, 1995 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Bernie Ness. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written· <br /> Motion carried· <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda with the following changes: Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br /> a (add one more county deed to City of Kindred) <br />· c (add condition of bikeway easement to plat approval) <br />· c (defer decision on purchase of third vehicle listed in County <br /> Engineer's memo dated February 24, 1995) <br /> f (add contract with Grand Forks County for juvenile detention) <br /> · g (add Sheriff's Department purchase of vehicle) <br />· h (ratify actions of Social Service Board meeting of <br /> March 6, 1995) <br />· move item b, ratify Space & Planning Committee actions, and item <br /> c, Road Department vehicle replacement purchases to the regular <br /> agenda <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, City of Kindred <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> chairman and county auditor to sign three county deeds for <br /> tax-forfeited lots purchased for $1.00 by the City of <br /> Kindred· On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Terry & Reney Huffman Subdivision final plat approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant final <br /> plat approval to Terry and Reney Huffman Subdivision, NW~A <br /> of Section 36 of Township 138N Range 50W in Cass County, <br /> North Dakota, subject to inclusion of bikeway easement on <br /> the plat. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Bridge repair in Raymond TownshiP, Sections 5-6 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> County Engineer to perform major repairs to bridge between <br /> Sections 5 and 6 of Raymond Township with county personnel. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br /> <br />
