North Dakota state law restricts counties from derivative <br />investments, and Ms. Sandvik said she can only invest funds in <br />certificates of deposit, money market accounts, checking accounts and <br />United States Treasury Bills. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reported on a meeting regarding the possibility of <br />accessing federal crime bill funds for the purpose of building a jail <br />or prison facility in the eastern part of the state. Mr. Wieland will <br />represent the county commission when the request for funds is made in <br />Bismarck. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner received a 1994 Cass County Vector Control District <br />Annual Report from Joel Young.
