Minutes--December 5, 1994 1273 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />DECEMBER 5, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon wieland, Bernie M. Ness <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda with the following changes to the <br /> consent agenda: 1) omit renewal of beer and liquor license <br /> for Richard and LaVonne Schroeder as application has not <br /> yet been received; 2) add assessment notice to property <br /> owner upon request of the county auditor; 3) ratify Road <br /> Advisory Committee Action of December 5, 1994; and 4) add <br /> contract with AT&T for AUDIX hard drive. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, County deeds signed~ unsold lots <br />offered to respective cities MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> the auditor and the chairman to sign county deeds for <br /> property sold at annual tax sale. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br />county auditor to offer to the city in which the property <br />is located the attached list of properties with the <br />stipulation that the county will cancel all taxes and the <br />city will cancel all specials against the property. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSES, Renewal for 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to renew <br /> county beer and liquor licenses for 1995 for the following <br /> applications received to date, as reviewed by the State's <br /> Attorney and the Sheriff, contingent upon approval of the <br /> respective township board of supervisors. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
