Comm. Minutes--November 21, 1994 1271 10. 11. 12. JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER ADDITION, Change Order #G-1 approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. wieland seconded to approve Change Order #G-1 on the Juvenile Justice Center construction project, as outlined in November 16, 1994, memorandum from County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ABATEMENT HEARING, Jack Kithcart MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded that abatement #3987, #3988 and #3989 be approved upon the recommendation of the Tax Director and Harwood Township. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. DATA PROCESSING, Purchase of new computer equipment Data Processing Coordinator Mike Steiner presented a proposal under memorandum dated November 18, 1994, for selling existing computer equipment and purchasing new equipment from the 1995 budget. MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the purchase agreement in the amount of 441,500 with Forward Concepts, Inc. for sale of the County's existing IBM AS/400 computer system. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve purchase order #91, in the amount of 4218,717.00, with the IBM Corporation for purchase of an IBM AS/400 Model 310 Computer System and 0S/400 Operating System Version 3.05. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. JOINT DISPATCH MEETING/ANNUAL REPORT, Committee reports Bonnie Johnson reminded Commissioners of the Joint Dispatch Council meeting at 7:45 AM tomorrow. Mrs. Toussaint commented on the first dispatch activity report received from the City of Fargo showing 3.4 calls per day for Cass County, which is down from 5.6 calls per day when the county study was done a few years ago. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. letter from Donald E. Rustad, Kindred, concerning rural economic development; Officer's Reports for October, 1994.
