Minutes--November 21, 1994 1270 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 21, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four <br />members present as follows: Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Steve Risher. Don Eckert was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve order of <br /> the agenda with following changes: 1) Auditor's request to <br /> defer sale of property withdrawn from consent agenda; 2) <br /> add change order #G-1 on the Juvenile Justice Center <br /> construction project to the consent agenda; and 3) add <br /> purchase agreement for sale of existing IBM AS/400 computer <br /> system and purchase order for new computer system to the <br /> regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of November 7f 1994 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to ratify <br /> Personnel Overview Committee actions of November 7, 1994, <br /> as follows: 1) amend Personnel Policy Section 4.00, Record <br /> of Employment, concerning employee medical records; 2) <br /> amend Personnel Policy Section 4.60, Reduction in Force, to <br /> omit the word "first" in the sentence "... may be given <br /> first opportunity ..." in the last paragraph on page 1; <br /> 3) approve RIF plan for county court probation officer and <br /> county court reporter; and 4) amend Personnel Policy by <br /> adding a policy to allow for transfer of annual leave among <br /> county employees· On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously· <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Lion's Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> raffle permit for Chaffee Lion's Club on the date of <br /> December 1, 1994, at the Chaffee School. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br /> and file Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Principal <br /> Mutual Life, Investors Bank, Gail Charlton, Travis Ritter <br /> and Earl Reisdorph; and authorize county treasurer and <br /> county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
