SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Social Service employee Kathy Suedel to Detroit Lakes, MN on November 7, 1994, for pre-placement visit. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. DATA PROCESSING, Sale of software to West Fargo Police Department MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve request of Michael Steiner, Data Processing Coordinator, allowing the West Fargo Police Department to purchase Vehicle Maintenance and Scheduling systems for the sum of ~2,500, with the understanding that any training and support requested by the West Fargo Police Department will be charged at the rate of ~50 per hour. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Fargo Community Health; North Dakota Division of Emergency Management MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the following contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: Fargo Community Health for 1995 public health services, and North Dakota Division of Emergency Management 1995 Comprehensive Cooperative Agreement. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ELECTION CANVASSING BOARD, Appointment of alternates MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to appoint Bonnie Johnson as an alternate for County Auditor Michael Montplaisir and Ceceilia McCullough as an alternate for Clerk of District Court Dorothy Howard on the Cass County Canvassing Board, according to letter from County Auditor dated November 3, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Tomina Meyer and authorize County Auditor to issue duplicate check· On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for vehicles MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve purchase order for five Crown Victoria police units for the Sheriff's Department from Hansen Ford Sales, Inc. of Grand Forks at a cost of ~17,490 each, and authorize Chairman to sign purchase order. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
