Minutes--July 18, 1994 1233 <br /> <br />26. <br /> <br />27. <br /> <br />28. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize the <br />expenditure of 911 funds by the Sheriff for the purchase of <br />a timed paging recorder at a cost not to exceed $3,500. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />EXTENSION TASK FORCE, Committee reports <br />Mr. Wieland reported the Extension Task Force is meeting again this <br />Thursday, and they are at the stage where recommendations will be made <br />soon and public input will be sought. He said the committee has <br />worked very diligently over the past several months. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and <br /> file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />City of Fargo comparison of customs activity report; <br /> <br />request from Fargo-Moorhead Council of Governments (COG) for <br />input on FY 1995 work program projects, and response to COG from <br />County Engineer Keith Berndt; <br /> <br />letter from Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation dated <br />June 12, 1994, finding the Cass County jail and juvenile <br />detention facilities to be in compliance with North Dakota law <br />and jail rules; <br /> <br />United Blood Services letter thanking Cass County Social <br />Services for participation in a recent blood drive; <br /> <br />Office of Intergovernmental Assistance notice of release of <br />funds for flood-related project; <br /> <br />invitation from West Fargo Chamber of Commerce for Commissioners <br />to attend the "Capital for a Day" in West Fargo August 10th at <br />11:30 AM in the Senior High School Auditorium; <br /> <br />Officer's reports for June, 1994. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> On motion by Mrs. Toussaint and seconded by Mr. Ness, the <br /> meeting was adjourned at 4:05 PM. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir County Auditor <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Steve Risher, ' <br />Cass County Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
