MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to refer this matter to the vehicle policy committee to see how it fits the needs of the county, and that they recommend further action to the Commission. Discussion: Mr. Ness said the county should consider selling forfeited property, and he suggested obtaining vehicles/equipment through federal surplus property. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. COURTHOUSE FRONT STEPS, Committee report County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson said a letter was received from the State Historical Society regarding the poor condition of the steps at the front entrance of the courthouse. She will do follow-up on this. COMMISSION MEETING, Cancelled for July 5~ 1994 Due to the lack of agenda items and the July 4th holiday, Mr. Risher suggested cancelling the July 5, 1994, Cass County Commission meeting. The only item that needs to be addressed is approval of bills. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to cancel the July 5, 1994, Cass County Commission meeting; and authorize Commissioners Steve Risher and Bernie Ness to review and approve vouchers, with formal approval at the next regularly scheduled meeting on July 18, 1994. Motion carried unanimously. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. letter from Alan Runck and response from Commission Chairman Steve Risher on 911 dispatch; letter from Sheriff Don Rudnick on 911 dispatch contract; Officer's reports for May, 1994. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mrs. Toussaint and seconded by Mr. Ness, the meeting was adjourned about 5:00 PM.
