Commission Minutes--December 19, 2005 3012 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 19, 2005 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Scott Wagner led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: contracts with Moore Engineering and IBM under contract approval; a purchase order for GIS software; and budget adjustment for Sheriff's Department for purchase of an infrared camera. Motion carried. 5. RETIREMENT PLAQUE, Presented to Ron Leon MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to present Ron Leon with a plaque for his twenty-three years of service with Cass County Buildings and Grounds upon his retirement. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00, Advisory Boards MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, and Section 14.01, Standing Committees, with 2005 appointments as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
