Mr. Ness <br />thinks this ~hould be considered as a way to raise revenue for the <br />Weed Board. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert said these are decisions to be made by the Weed Control <br />Board and will be taken into consideration at the Weed Board meeting. <br />Mr. Ness said the county commission appoints the Weed Board, and their <br />input is very important. Mrs. Toussaint said commissioners should <br />invite input from fellow commissioners when serving on boards, and she <br />thinks some type of contract with Fargo should be considered. Mr. <br />Eckert said they have been in contact with the City of Fargo and he <br />has a consensus from the Weed Board on a decision. Mr. Wieland said <br />he hopes the Weed Control Board will carefully consider the City of <br />Fargo's request from the stand-point of gaining $10,000 in income. <br /> <br />Mr. Risher suggested that Mr. Ness schedule Weed Control Board <br />discussion on a future commission agenda, rather than discussing it <br />during committee reports, if he does not get any satisfaction after <br />the Weed Board meeting this Wednesday. <br /> <br />County Auditor Michael Montplaisir reported on an interim taxation <br />committee meeting in Fargo March 24th and 25th at the Doublewood Inn. <br /> <br />Several commissioners attended the East Central <br />Association meeting last week in Barnes County. <br /> <br />Commissioners' <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br /> and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as <br /> follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />copy of letter from State's Attorney John Goff requesting <br />attorney general's opinion on Weed Board membership; <br /> <br />notice from North Dakota Department of Transportation on award <br />of enhancement funds for Kindred bicycle and pedestrian path; <br /> <br />letter from Denita Linnertz of West Fargo regarding D.A.R.E. <br />program. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> On motion by Mr. Eckert and seconded by Mr. Wieland, the <br /> meeting was adjourned about 5:00 PM. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir - County Auditor <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Steve Risher, <br />Cass County Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
