Comm. Minutes--Harch 21, 1994 1182 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 21, 1994 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following consent agenda changes: 1) postpone item a, adoption of Personnel Policy Section 2.61, driving review board, as requested by memo from Social Services department; 2) add Wanzek Construction under contract approval in item e; 3) add purchase order for road department vehicles; and, 4) move item b, amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, advisory boards, to regular agenda· Motion carried· PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of March ?th meeting MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee actions of March 7, 1994, as follows: 1) accept bids from Don's Mobil North and Don's Mobil West for vehicle labor bids; 2) amend personnel policy manual section 4.40, sexual and other unlawful harassment. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLATS APPROVED, Drewelow Subdivision; Simple Subdivision #1, 16-139-53 MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant final plat approval to Drewelow Subdivision, SE} of Section 14, Range 49W, Township 137N in Cass County, North Dakota; and to grant final plat approval to Simple Subdivision #1, NE} of Section 16, Range 53W, Township 139N in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Leslie Johnson on March 18, 1994, to St. Cloud, Minnesota, for child in foster care. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
