Minutes--March 7, 1994 1171 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 7, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon <br />Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda with the following changes on the <br /> consent agenda: 1) add raffle permit for Minn-Kota Feline <br /> Club; 2) add a condition to Simple Subdivision #1 plat <br /> approval in Section 15-141-54; 3) authorize resolution for <br /> North Dakota Department of Transportation to accept bid of <br /> Wanzek Construction for bridge replacement; 4) sign <br /> purchase order for gravel conveyor scale for Road <br /> Department; 5) move Road Department vehicle bids from the <br /> consent agenda to the regular agenda; 6) add Regional Child <br /> Support Enforcement unit request to the regular agenda as <br /> the first item; and 7) include recommendation from County <br /> Auditor on agenda item #3 relating to flood study grant. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT SNOWPLOW CREWS, Staff commendation <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to send <br /> commendation letters to Cass County Road Department crews <br /> for snow removal work on county roads this winter, as read <br /> by Chairman Steve Risher. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />CLERK OF COUNTY COURT, Letter of aDDreciation <br />Chairman Risher read a letter of appreciation addressed to Linda <br />Rogers, Clerk of County Court, recognizing her for 25 years of service <br />working for Cass County government. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Canaan Moravian Church; Minn-Kota Feline Club <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for Canaan Moravian Church to be held on April 30, 1994, <br /> at Canaan Moravian Church in Davenport, North Dakota; and raffle <br /> permit for Minn-Kota Feline Club to be held on April 9 and 10, <br /> 1994, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North <br /> Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
