On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br />out-of-state travel for Leslie Johnson to Detroit Lakes, MN <br />on February 9, 1994, to transport child in foster care. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG), Disaster program amendment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign an amendment adding Part VII Grantee <br /> Housing Assistance Policy for the CDBG disaster program. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Auditor's Office to issue duplicate check <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br /> and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Rhonda <br /> Alvarez, and authorize County Auditor's Office to issue <br /> duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNTY COMMISSION SECRETARY, Recognized for 25 years of service <br />Chairman Risher read a letter addressed to Joyce ScheDp recognizing <br />her for 25 years of service as secretary to the Cass County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Bckert seconded to adopt the <br /> following resolution: On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has been an employee of the Cass <br />County Commission since February 10, 1969; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mrs. Schepp has faithfully, competently, and <br />cheerfully served as Commission Secretary to over 17 Cass <br />County Commissioners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mrs. Schepp has demonstrated her willingness to go <br />above and beyond the normal limits of assigned duties to <br />better fulfill the demands of the Cass County Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, to commend Mrs. Schepp and <br />congratulate her on 25 years of service to the Cass County <br />Commission and to the citizens of Cass County. <br /> <br />Dated this 7th day of February, 1994. <br /> <br />COUNTY COMMISSION, Out-of-state travel request denied <br />In a memo to commissioners dated January 21, 1994, Commissioner Risher <br />requested permission for out-of-state travel to attend the National <br />Association of Counties legislative conference in Washington, D.C. on <br />March 4-8, 1994, at an estimated cost of $1,200. Mr. Ness asked to <br />move this item from the consent agenda to the regular agenda for <br />discussion. <br /> <br /> <br />
