Comm. Minutes--February 7, 1994 1165 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 7, 1994 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of agenda with the following additions: 1) Social Services travel for Kathy Hogan and Leslie Johnson; 2) Community Development Block Grant disaster program amendment; 3) Lost Instrument Bond for Rhonda Alvarez; and move item c, travel request for Commissioner Steve Risher, to the regular agenda for discussion. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, BINGO, Kindred Lion's Club; Chaffee School MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit for Kindred Lion's Club to be held at Kindred School on March 25, 1994; and to approve bingo permit for Chaffee School to be held at the Chaffee School March 17, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of January 18~ 1994 MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee actions of January 18, 1994, amending Personnel Policy Manual Section 6.00, as distributed to all departments. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. wieland seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Leslie Johnson to St. Cloud, MN on February 1, 1994 to place a child in foster care; and for Leslie Johnson to transport a child in foster care and attend court in Detroit Lakes, MN and Ada, MN on January 26 and 27, 1994 and February 14, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
