Mrs. Toussaint asked her to make <br />a recommendation and place this item on the next Commission <br />agenda. <br /> <br />TOWNSHIP OFFICER'S MEETING; STATE FAIR ANNUAL MEETING; EXTENSION TASK <br />FORCE; FARGO PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC FACILITIES REVIEW; CASS-CLAY <br />COMMISSIONERS JOINT MEETING; EMERGENCY DISPATCH, Committee reports <br />Commissioners Eckert and Wieland attended the annual fall meeting of <br />the Cass County Township Officers' Association in Casselton, as did <br />Mr. Montplaisir. Mr. Eckert said it is important that they be exposed <br />to county government concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert has a report for anyone to review that he received as a <br />delegate to the State Fair Association annual meeting held in Minot. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland invited anyone to attend the first meeting of the <br />Extension Task Force on Thursday, November 18, 1993, at 4:00 PM in the <br />Commission Room. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the first meeting with the City of Fargo Public <br />Facilities Review Planning Committee on the Juvenile Justice Center <br />addition is this Wednesday at 5:00 PM. She will be attending that <br />meeting with the architect, Terry Stroh. <br /> <br />Clay County Coordinator, Vijay Sethi, contacted Mrs. Johnson and <br />suggested a joint meeting between Cass and Clay County Commissioners <br />to discuss items of mutual concern. Of the two dates mentioned by <br />Mr. Sethi, Cass County chose the date of December 14, 1993, at a <br />location to be decided by Clay County. Cass County department heads <br />will be invited to submit agenda items. <br /> <br />Mr. Risher said he received a report from Sheriff Don Rudnick about <br />an accident he witnessed near Tower City on Interstate 94 about two <br />weeks ago, and a follow-up letter from Lyle Gallagher, State Radio <br />Communications. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and <br /> file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />request from Attorney General's Office for information on county <br />comprehensive zoning plans (referred to County Engineer); <br /> <br />letters from North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding <br />underwater bridge inspection reports and design guidelines for <br />major collectors and township routes (referred to Engineer); <br /> <br />Sykeston Canal Alternatives Study from U.S. Department of the <br />Interior; <br /> <br />- Officer's reports for October, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />
