Minutes--October 11, 1993 1120 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Wild Rice Bar MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. wieland seconded to approve permit <br /> for Sunday alcoholic beverage sales at Bill's Bar-N-Grill, <br /> Wild Rice, ND on November 7, 14, 21 and 28 and on December <br /> 5, 12 and 19, 1993; for an additional license fee of ~5.00 <br /> for each Sunday, in accordance with Senate Bill 2265. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE ACTIONS RATIFIED, Pay above minimum for <br />Social Services staff; policy on leave cut-off date; reduction in <br />force (RIF) policy approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve request <br /> to pay above minimum salary for Human Program Administra- <br /> tor, beginning salary at grade C52, year three. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br />addition of family leave cut-off to the sick leave policy <br />cut-off date of December 15th. (This is so all policies <br />are consistent). On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br />Reduction in Force (RIF) policy. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />JOINT DISPATCH, Contract to be drafted with City of Fargo <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> State's Attorney John Goff to draft agreement on behalf of <br /> Cass County for contracting 911 services with the City of <br /> Fargo. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />U.S. WEST COMMUNICATIONS, Utility permit granted <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign utility permit for U.S. West Communica- <br /> tions to make one encroachment of County Road #10 in <br /> Casselton, as approved by the County Engineer. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF COMMITTEE, Intergovernmental Roadway Policy Study <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to appoint <br /> Commissioners Toussaint and Ness to serve on the <br /> Intergovernmental Roadway Study Committee according to memo <br /> of September 30th from County Engineer Keith Berndt.
