Minutes--July 6, 1993 1056 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for Minn-Kota Chapter, <br />American Red Cross <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant site <br /> authorization permit for American Red Cross, Minn-Kota <br /> Chapter, to conduct games of chance under license issued by <br /> North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of <br /> August 1, 1993 through June 30, 1994, at the Knickerbocker <br /> Liquor Locker, Hickson, ND. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Fargo Holiday Inn MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve permit <br /> for special event for Fargo Holiday Inn to sell alcoholic <br /> beverages at Bonanzaville for Northwest Airlines <br /> Appreciation evening on July 29, 1993. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Roughrider Detachment #435, Marine Corps League <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for the North Dakota Chapter Roughrider Detachment <br /> #435, Marine Corps League, to conduct games of chance at <br /> Red River Valley Fairgrounds on the date of November 6, <br /> 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />KINDRED SCHOOL, Road safety project MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> Keith Berndt, County Engineer, to proceed with design and <br /> construction of a curb and small island to separate between <br /> highway traffic and the Kindred School parking lot/drop off <br /> areas, at a total estimated cost of $30,000; Cass County's <br /> cost being up to $7,500. Authorization is contingent upon <br /> North Dakota Department of Transportation safety fund <br /> availability and local participation. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />U.S. WEST COMMUNICATIONS, INTER-COMMUNITY TELEPHONE, Utility permits <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign utility permit for U.S. West <br /> Communications to make one encroachment of County Road #11, <br /> according to permit and sketch submitted by County <br /> Engineer. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br />chairman to sign utility permit for Inter-Community <br />Telephone Company to install a 3-pair telephone cable under <br />County Road #5, according to permit and sketch submitted by <br />County Engineer.
