Comm. Minutes, Special Mtg.--June 7, 1993 1036 <br /> <br />Mr. William Grieve was present and feels he meets the <br />requirements of the farm residence exemption. He has rented <br />out land for the past 8 years. Mr. Klein said in order to <br />meet the farm residence exemption, ~ requirements must be met: <br />1) A major portion of the person's time (over 50%) must be <br />spent on farming; 2) 50% of net income has to be from <br />farming; and 3) non-farming income cannot exceed $30,000 for <br />last 3 years. Mr. Grieve does not meet the requirements. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded that a <br /> residential structure assessment of $15,000 be <br /> added to the Grieve property in Section 33 of <br /> Ayr Township.
