Comm. Minutes--January 4, 1993 981 18. 19. COMMITTEE REPORTS County Auditor Michael Montplaisir provided commissioners with copies of the 1993 county budget book. Mr. wieland suggested that the Friday afternoon legislative meetings be held at 3:30 PM, and he gave County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson a copy of the legislative report for this week. He said the first hearing he plans to attend in Bismarck will be January 13th on the State Aid Distribution Fund. Commissioners asked County Engineer Keith Berndt to reschedule the County Road Advisory Committee meeting set for January 13th because Mr. Wieland and possibly other commissioners will be in Bismarck attending legislative hearings on that day. Mr. Wieland said he has received correspondence concerning cemetery care near Gardner, and he will continue to pursue it as further developments occur. Bonnie Johnson said she hopes to receive legislative bill drafts by facsimile machine so copies can be distributed in time for Friday legislative meetings. She also reported on several situations which occurred since she was appointed temporary supervisor of the maintenance department and her resolve on those matters. Bonnie Johnson said the Joint Dispatch Council is meeting at 7:45 AM Tuesday, January 5th, in the Commission Room at the Courthouse. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried unanimously. memo from Frank Klein, Director of Tax Equalization, concerning Cass County agricultural valuation for 1993; letter from North Dakota Department of Transportation dated December 28th, 1992, regarding federal aid participation in bridge scour analysis (referred to County Engineer); copy of letter to State's Attorney from Walt Valovage regarding vector control budget line items; letter from Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency and letter from North Dakota Housing Finance Agency regarding the Helping Housing Across North Dakota (Helping H.A.N.D.) Program and memo from County Auditor on use of funds received in the amount of $33,455 to enhance housing opportunities in Cass County; memo from Cass County water resource districts requesting use of County Planner's former office in the Juvenile Detention Center in addition to the space they were offered at the December 21st, 1992, Commission meeting;
