Comm. Minutes--November 2, 1992 950 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize an <br />expenditure of $1,687 to Manning Mechanical, Inc. for fuel <br />oil line replacement to the Courthouse generator, to be <br />paid from the Buildings and Grounds budget. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />27. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Meeting with Ernst & Young set for <br />November 30th <br />Bonnie Johnson reported that she contacted John Coskey from Ernst & <br />Young after the Personnel Overview Committee meeting this morning, and <br />Mr. Coskey said he can be available the week of November 30th to <br />discuss options for administering a 1993 salary plan. Commissioners <br />agreed to meet with Mr. Coske¥ on Monday, November 30th, and <br />Mrs. Johnson said she will confirm the time and notify Personnel <br />Overview Committee members. <br /> <br />28. <br /> <br />COUNTY PARKING LOTS, Response to request for a reserved space <br />Commissioners were in agreement that Mr. Wieland should inform Craig <br />Richie, who owns property next to the parking lot east of the <br />Courthouse, that the County cannot grant his request for a reserved <br />parking space because of the need for controlled access and the need <br />for time-limited public parking. <br /> <br />29. <br /> <br />30. <br /> <br />SUGGESTION BOX ITEM, Smoking policy <br />Through the Suggestion Box, the Commission was commended <br />eliminating smoking in the Courthouse south wing cafeteria. <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />EAST CENTRAL COMMISSIONERS ASSOCIATION, Next meeting December 14th <br />Cass County Commissioners will be hosting the next meeting of the East <br />Central Commissioners Association at The Bowler in south Fargo on <br />December 14th at 10:00 AM. <br /> <br />31. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and <br /> file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter from City of West Fargo naming Darrell Vanyo as their <br />representative on the Joint Dispatch Council; <br /> <br />letter from City of Fargo naming Arlette Preston and Bruce <br />Furness as their representatives on the Joint Dispatch Council; <br /> <br />- CDBG information letter on HUD disclosure requirements; <br /> <br />copy of letter to County Road Engineer from West Fargo Chamber <br />of Commerce requesting road improvements on 12th Avenue North <br />and County Road 19 from Main Avenue to 12th Avenue North; <br /> <br />letter from John Otterness, Chair of the Cass County School <br />Master's Association, regarding superintendent of schools plan; <br /> <br />resignation of Katrina Doll as extraterritorial member of the <br />West Fargo Planning and Zoning Commission effective November 1st <br />and forwarding the name of Jeff Nikle as possible replacement; <br /> <br /> <br />
