Minutes--November 2, 1992 950 MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize an expenditure of $1,687 to Manning Mechanical, Inc. for fuel oil line replacement to the Courthouse generator, to be paid from the Buildings and Grounds budget. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 27. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Meeting with Ernst & Young set for November 30th Bonnie Johnson reported that she contacted John Coskey from Ernst & Young after the Personnel Overview Committee meeting this morning, and Mr. Coskey said he can be available the week of November 30th to discuss options for administering a 1993 salary plan. Commissioners agreed to meet with Mr. Coske¥ on Monday, November 30th, and Mrs. Johnson said she will confirm the time and notify Personnel Overview Committee members. 28. COUNTY PARKING LOTS, Response to request for a reserved space Commissioners were in agreement that Mr. Wieland should inform Craig Richie, who owns property next to the parking lot east of the Courthouse, that the County cannot grant his request for a reserved parking space because of the need for controlled access and the need for time-limited public parking. 29. 30. SUGGESTION BOX ITEM, Smoking policy Through the Suggestion Box, the Commission was commended eliminating smoking in the Courthouse south wing cafeteria. for EAST CENTRAL COMMISSIONERS ASSOCIATION, Next meeting December 14th Cass County Commissioners will be hosting the next meeting of the East Central Commissioners Association at The Bowler in south Fargo on December 14th at 10:00 AM. 31. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. letter from City of West Fargo naming Darrell Vanyo as their representative on the Joint Dispatch Council; letter from City of Fargo naming Arlette Preston and Bruce Furness as their representatives on the Joint Dispatch Council; - CDBG information letter on HUD disclosure requirements; copy of letter to County Road Engineer from West Fargo Chamber of Commerce requesting road improvements on 12th Avenue North and County Road 19 from Main Avenue to 12th Avenue North; letter from John Otterness, Chair of the Cass County School Master's Association, regarding superintendent of schools plan; resignation of Katrina Doll as extraterritorial member of the West Fargo Planning and Zoning Commission effective November 1st and forwarding the name of Jeff Nikle as possible replacement;
