Minutes--November 2, 1992 944 <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 2, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda adding the following items to the <br /> consent agenda: 1) site authorization permit, 2) utility <br /> permit and 3) county deed for sale of tax-forfeited <br /> property; and adding one item to the regular agenda on <br /> elevator maintenance. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Lions Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> raffle permit for Chaffee Lions Club on the date of <br /> December 1, 1992, at the Chaffee School. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Social Services employee Bev Bohn <br /> to Fergus Falls on October 28, 1992, and for Pam Sand to <br /> Fergus Falls on October 14 and 19, 1992. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Cass County State's Attorney John <br /> Golf to appear in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in <br /> St. Paul, MN, on November 11-12, 1992. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Winter Awareness Day Proclamation <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign a proclamation designating November <br /> 12, 1992, as Severe Winter Weather Awareness Day. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
