<br />Commission Minutes--December 5, 2005 3010 <br /> <br />13. MOTOR POOL, Authorize chairman to sian purchase order for vehicles <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize the chairman to <br />sign a purchase order for two Chevrolet Uplander vehicles for the motor <br />pool vehicle fleet. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. RESOLUTION #2005-19, MIDA Bond application of Plains Art Museum <br />Attorney James Stewart was present for the MIDA Bond hearing on the application of the <br />Plains Art Museum. The project is for bond refinancing to pay for renovations to a building <br />located at 704 First Avenue North in Fargo. <br /> <br />The chairman opened the public hearing and invited comments from the audience. Hearing <br />none, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to adopt Resolution #2005-19 <br />Giving Final Approval to the Issuance of Museum Facilities Refunding <br />Revenue Bonds (Plains Art Museum Project) Series 2005. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. RESOLUTION #2005-20, MIDA Bond application of NDSU Development Foundation <br />Attorney James Stewart was present for the MIDA Bond hearing on the application of the <br />NDSU Development Foundation. The project is for improvements to locker rooms and <br />meeting rooms at the FargoDome located at 1800 North University Drive in Fargo. <br /> <br />The chairman opened the public hearing and invited comments from the audience. Hearing <br />none, the public hearing was closed. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to adopt Resolution #2005- <br />20 Approving the Issuance of University Facilities Revenue Bonds (NDSU <br />Development Foundation Project) Series 2005. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />16. CASS COUNTY EMERGENCY DECLARATION, Approved <br />Dave Rogness. Emergency Manager, was present. Many counties in North Dakota <br />experienced an ice and snow storm on November 27, 2005, including Cass County. He is <br />requesting the commission approve an emergency declaration so the county may be eligible <br />for federal funding. He sent a letter to cities throughout the county and said preliminary <br />damage assessments to properties are minimal; however. rural electric cooperatives may <br />be eligible to receive funding. The majority of the costs associated with the storm relate to <br />snow removal, sanding of roads and employee overtime. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the Cass County <br />Emergency Declaration as presented by the Cass County Emergency <br />Manager. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />17. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />202,967 through Voucher No. 203,162. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
