Minutes--April 6, 1992 840 CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. information from North Dakota Association of Counties on roadside mowing, E-911 agreements, Risk Management Seminar, charter bus to NACo conference, and information on NACo Volunteer of the Year Program; copy of memo from Road Superintendent to Harwood City Council regarding school crossing; letter from Sheriff Department on disposal of retired vehicles, and Sheriff Department 1991 annual report; notice of completion of organization-wide audit by Department of Health and Human Services for the calendar year 1990; copy of press release from Tax Director Frank Klein regarding 1992 agricultural land valuations; copy of press release from Bruce Hoefs, Superintendent of Schools, on State Mathcounts Competition (first time a student from Cass County has won this competition in the State to his knowledge); information from North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund on advance railroad crossing warning signs (copy to County Road Department); North Dakota Department of Transportation seminar registration for "Highway Engineering Exchange Program" being held in Bismarck May 4-6; copy of appreciation letter to John Meyer, Veterans Service Officer, for assisting a veteran. PUBLIC COMMENT Concerned about political activity in the Courthouse, Jeannette Stanton, Fargo, handed out copies of a section of the North Dakota Century Code to the State's Attorney and the Chairman. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Shannon and seconded by Mr. Risher, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned about 5:45 PM.
