Comm. Minutes--February 18, 1992 828 16. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. letter from County Auditor regarding accumulation of ice from the down spouts on the north and south ends of the Courthouse; information from Joel Young, Vector Control District Director, regarding hiring of seasonal workers effective April 1, 1992 (copy referred to County Coordinator); letter from Adair Boening, Interim Director of the Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit, confirming the hiring of two part-time legal secretaries and using adjusted work hours because of shortage of office space; copies of communications between Auditor and County Court Judges on payment of Cass County Bar Association dues; certified letter from North Dakota Game and Fish Department and letter from County Weed Control Officer about proposed land acquisition in Eldred Township; information on Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center annual conference and training session to be held at the Fargo Holiday Inn September 29 - October lst; CDBG information letter saying the Department of Economic Development and Finance will be reviewing and making decisions on the Community Development Loan Fund program; Officer's reports for January, 1992; letter from County Planner on Planning Commission membership; 17. PUBLIC COMMENT An opportunity was given for public comment, but no one asked to address the Commission at this time. Mr. Shannon introduced three members of a Fargo Chamber of Commerce leadership class who attended today's meeting. 18. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Risher and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned about 5:15 PM.
