Minutes--February 18, 1992 823 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FEBRUARY 18, 1992 (TUESDAY) <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert~ Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda, amending the consent agenda to include <br /> sale of tax-forfeited lots to cities of Fargo, West Fargo <br /> and Casselton. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATIONS, Letters to Jerry Skjonsby, Kathy Larsen, Carol <br />Rehder, Ruby Ackerman, Roxane Friese MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send <br /> letters of commendation to Jerry Skjonsby, Kathy Larsen, <br /> Carol Rehder, Ruby Ackerman, and Roxane Friese; a copy of <br /> each to be placed in the respective employees' personnel <br /> files after being posted on the main floor bulletin board. <br /> Upon roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />JUVENILE DETENTION CONTRACTS, Chairman authorized to sign <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign contracts with Ransom, Pembina, Dickey <br /> and Walsh Counties for holding juveniles in the Cass County <br /> Juvenile Detention Center. Upon roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />SHERIFF, SOCIAL SERVICES, AUDITOR, Out of state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out <br /> of state travel for Deputy Sheriff Tony Krogh to attend the <br /> annual Midstates Technical Investigators Association March <br /> 30-April 1, 1992 in Springfield, Missouri. Upon roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out <br />of state travel for Deputy Rod Kitzan to attend a Bomb <br />Squad Commanders Seminar in Quantico, Virginia, March 23- <br />27, 1992.
