Minutes--January 21, 1992 810 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Michael Montplaisir, Annette Ingulsrud, <br />Ruby Ackerman and Roxane Friese to attend accounts payable <br />and purchase order training sessions sponsored by Business <br />Records Corporation in St. Cloud, MN on February 4 and 5, <br />1992. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br />emergency out of state travel for Dawn Krieger, Social <br />Worker III, to attend a client staffing in Detroit Lakes, <br />MN, January 10th, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS, Metropolitan Council, County Planning MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to appoint <br /> Commissioner Don Eckert 'to the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan <br /> Council of Governments policy board for 1992, replacing <br /> Gene Shannon, and to appoint Alon Wieland as alternate. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to appoint <br />Commissioner Alon Wieland to represent the County <br />Commission on the Cass County Planning board along with <br />Commissioner Don Eckert, whose portfolio is planning. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Kindred Lion's Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve a <br /> raffle permit for the Kindred Lion's Club on April 3, 1992, <br /> at the Kindred Public School. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />INSURANCE PREMIUMS FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES, Health insurance <br />It was brought to the attention of the Cass County Commission, through <br />payroll, that 1991 health insurance premium calculations for part-time <br />employees did not follow county policy and the pro-rata share of <br />premiums was not properly calculated and not properly deducted from <br />their payroll checks. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that 1992 pay <br /> checks for part-time employees will reflect the corrected <br /> health insurance premium deduction. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Equipment needs/action ratified MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to ratify Social <br /> Service Board action of this date approving an expenditure <br /> of $10,000 for capitol outlay for renovating the former <br /> Human Resource office space for Social Services use. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
