VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br />Vouchers No. 32,199 through No. 33,100 as reviewed by <br />Mr. Eckert. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />28. CENTRAL PURCHASING, RESOLUTION OF CONGRATULATIONS, Committee reports <br />Steve Risher reported a savings of about 3.5% for a nine-month period <br />for the purchase of office supplies and copy paper from central <br />purchasing. When bills were revie,ved earl ier today, Mr. Risher <br />suggested purchasing film used by county departments from central <br />purchasing and possibly contracting with one company for film <br />developing to get a better rate. <br /> <br />Commissioners received an invitation to an open house honoring Mr. and <br />Mrs. Oscar Sondrall on their 65th wedding anniversary on January 26th, <br />and a resolution of congratulations will be placed on the next agenda. <br /> <br />29. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and <br />file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />North Dakota Association of Counties information on Institute of <br />County Government workshops and information about demonstration <br />projects for counties; <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation Agreement for <br />Construction and Maintenance, Resolution and Right of Way <br />Certificate for road two miles east of Harwood, information on <br />1993-94 and information on design and inspections of Federal <br />aid projects; <br /> <br />letter from Leah Johnson of West Fargo regarding traffic signals <br />by Harwood School; <br /> <br />information from Tax Director Frank Klein on sunflower plant <br />assessments and notice of his appraisal certification; <br /> <br />note from Kaye Braaten, President of the National Association of <br />Counties (NACo), thanking Cass County for hosting the NACo Board <br />meeting in December; <br /> <br />letter from E. Adrian Ivers, District Conservationist notifying <br />Commissioners of a meeting on January 16th at 12:45 PM at the <br />Juvenile Justice Center meeting room regarding soil surveys; <br /> <br />annual report from Cass County 4-H Youth Development program. <br />
