<br />CASS COUNTY INTEROPERABLE RADIO PROJECT <br />STATEMENT OF WORK/ACCEPTANCE TEST PLAN <br /> <br />Antenna Mounting and Installation <br /> <br />The owner shall provide the necessary antenna mounting structures (tower <br />installation, roof mount, parapet mount) and each shall be designed for the intended <br />application. The antenna mounting structure shall support the antenna; meet wind and <br />ice load requirements, and provide sufficient room for the necessary antenna <br />installation. This work will be done by the owner. <br /> <br />Licenses and Certifications <br /> <br />The owner shall be responsible for any licenses, fees, or other authorization required <br />by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and for compliance with FCC <br />rules. The owner shall be responsible for all licenses, fees, studies, building permits, <br />electrical permits, environmental permits, licensed engineering drawings, easements, <br />Right-of"' Ways, land-use agreements and all other necessary approvals. These <br />agencies may include, but are not limited to the FAA (Federal Aviation Association), <br />SEQR (County Environmental Quality Review), DEC, Historic Preservation and <br />local zoning. <br /> <br />Neither Motorola, nor any of its employees, may act as an agent or representative of <br />the owner on any matter unless specifically addressed in the Motorola response. <br />Motorola can assist the owner in the preparation of license applications or extensions, <br />if requested. The owner is responsible for providing copies of current FCC licenses <br />'for all radio sites included in this system prior to the commencement of Motorola's <br />installation work. <br /> <br />7.0 SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION AND CUTOVER PLAN <br /> <br />The system implementation and cutover will generally be as follows. Specific details <br />of the cutover will be developed iIi further discussions with the owner: <br /> <br />.:. Upon completion of the site preparation responsibilities by the owner, Motorola <br />will begin to install the proposed equipment at the determined locations <br /> <br />.:. All equipment will be optimized prior to cutover <br /> <br />.:. After the system has been optimized, Motorola will conduct the Acceptance Test <br />Plan (A TP) with the owner . <br /> <br />.:. Once the ATP has been successfully performed the new equipment will be placed <br />into service <br /> <br />.:. Coverage and proof of performance testing that will be performed by a "talk" test <br /> <br />. MOTOROL.A <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />'This information is a trade secret which gives Motorola a competitive edge in the marketplace. <br />Disclosure to competitors would cause irreparable injury to Motorola. .. <br />
