<br />CASS COUNTY INTEROPERABLE RADIO PROJECT <br />STATEMENT OF WORK/ACCEPTANCE TEST PLAN <br /> <br />provide and install the required Surge Suppression Devices on all equipment provided <br />in this proposal. TVSS at the remote RX sites will be Motorola's responsibility. <br />TVSS at the 45th Street and High Rise sites will be the owner's responsibility. It shall <br />be the responsibility of the owner to bring the existing shelters and equipment up to <br />Standards and Guidelines for Communication Sites (R56), where appropriate. <br /> <br />Electrical Installation <br /> <br />Sites shall have an electrical service and electrical wiring that meets the requirements <br />of the National Electrical Code (NBC), the Motorola document, Standards and <br />Guidelines for Communication Sites (R56), as well as all other applicable city and <br />County requirements and shall be the responsibility ofthe owner. <br /> <br />Electrical Capacity <br /> <br />Sites shall have an electrical service (AC, DC, UPS, generator (if the owner deems it <br />necessary), etc.) with the necessary capacity to supply power to the equipment <br />associated with this proposal. Critical equipment items will require dedicated circuits <br />as defined by the engineering Design Documents and shall be the responsibility of the <br />owner. <br /> <br />Equipment Space <br /> <br />Motorola will review equipment space requirements with the owner to ensure <br />sufficient installation space and compliance with the Motorola document, Standards <br />and Guidelines for Communication Sites (R56). <br /> <br />Environmental Conditions <br /> <br />Sites shall have adequate environmental controls to meet the heating, HV AC, and <br />humidity requirements, as defined in the Motorola document, Standards and <br />. Guidelines for Communication Sites (R56). It is the owner's responsibility to ensure <br />that the sites are free of hazardous materials such as fuels, a sbestos, etc. Motorola <br />would be pleased to provide equipment specifications as required to the owner for <br />building environmental control sizing and design. Meeting environmental control <br />requirements is necessary for the Motorola warranty as well as third party warranties. <br /> <br />Site Connectivity <br /> <br />A demarcation point will also be established to define the connection point between <br />the Motorola supplied equipment and the owner's supplied lime Motorola will <br />perform a test, which will verify site link performance prior to the interconnection of <br />the Motorola supplied equipment to the link equipment. <br /> <br />.
