<br />CASS COUNTY INTEROPERABLE RADIO PROJECT <br />STATEMENT OF WORK/ACCEPTANCE TEST PLAN <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> <br />1.0 PURPOSE <br /> <br />Motorola has assembled this document, called a Statement of Work (SOW), which is <br />a formal document to summarize the tasks to be performed by Motorola as well as a <br />narrative explanation of the deliverables that will need to be provided by Cass <br />County (the owner), to ensure a complete system. <br /> <br />2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />Motorola will perform all tasks required to furnish and install the proposed Astro <br />Conventional Simulcast system. Four (4) channels will be operated in a digital (P25) <br />modulation mode and one (1) channel will be operated in an analog modulation <br />mode. <br /> <br />Motorola will commence work at a respective site only after the owner's designated <br />Project Manager has notified Motorola to proceed with the work at that site. <br />Motorola will also expect the site's civil work to be complete. Equipment provided <br />in the Statement of Work will be installed only once by Motorola with the following <br />-exceptions: <br /> <br />1. Removals and installations because of equipment failure or malfunction. <br /> <br />2. Removals and installations to facilitate troubleshooting and malfunction <br />investigation. <br /> <br />Motorola and its subcontractors will coordinate with the owner on all site access <br />requirements prior to commencing work at all sites. <br /> <br />All work will be performed in a good workmanship manner and consistent with high <br />quality commercial practices. The Motorola "Installation Quality Guideline" will be <br />used as a reference for the subcontractors to follow during the actual installation. The <br />"Quality Guideline" will be followed where it applies to a new control center <br />installation in an existing facility. A II Motorola personnel and subcontractors will <br />exercise the care and diligence generally associated with the installation and <br />implementation of a quality radio communication system. This care a nd diligence <br />will apply to all phases of work. <br /> <br />All Motorola subcontractors will be pre-qualified, experienced and required to carry <br />insurance equal to or better than the Motorola minimum standard. <br /> <br />..' ..... . m ....0.......- ...... -LAm. <br />M.. __II_'mm <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />'This information is a trade secret which gives Motorola a competitive edge in the marketplace. <br />Disclosure to competitors would cause irreparable injury to Motorola.
