<br />Comm. Minutes--November 4, 1991 772 <br /> <br />County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson prepared a "request for proposals" <br />for a consultant for 911/joint dispatch, according to Hr. Wieland. <br />He said officials from the cities of Fargo, West Fargo and Cass <br />County, along with staff, will meet again November 19th. Mrs. Johnson <br />said she talked about 911 with Joel Quanbeck from the Metropolitan <br />Council of Governments recently. <br /> <br />Mrs. Toussaint asked Commissioners to attend a mission planning <br />session for Social Services at 8:30 AM on November 12th. <br /> <br />Bonnie Johnson said activities occupying her time this past week have <br />been making arrangements for the National Association of Counties <br />executive board meeting being held in Fargo on December 5-7th and the <br />Cass County Charter Commission. The Charter Commission will meet wi tb <br />the 50-member advisory panel on Tuesday, November 12th, at 7:30 PH in <br />the lower level of the Juvenile Justice Center. <br /> <br />Mr. Shannon said two road policy meetings have been held with <br />officials from Fargo, West Fargo and Cass County. <br /> <br />21. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br />and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as <br />follows: <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation requesting counties to <br />support a three-cent gas tax increase; <br /> <br />request from Treasurer of Madison County, Illinois, for a copy <br />of Cass County's strategic plan; <br /> <br />response from Congressman Byron Dorgan to Cass County's letter <br />about the use of Community Development Block Grant funds for <br />weatherization and home improvements; <br /> <br />CDBG information letter on comments received regarding 1992 <br />public facilities and housing program distribution statement; <br /> <br />thank you card from Glenn Ellingsberg, Sheriff's Department, for <br />the card and pin on his birthday; <br /> <br />22.
