Minutes--November 4, 1991 767 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 4, 1991 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with the <br />following members present: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes <br />of October 21 and October 25, 1991, be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br />order of the agenda as amended, moving the contract with <br />Ernst and Young for wage classification study from the <br />consent agenda to the regular agenda and adding a <br />recommendation from the Benefits Committee on the flexible <br />benefit plan. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. COURT TRANSFER CASES, 1991-1992 a~reements with West Far~o <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br />the Chairman to sign the agreements for 1991 and 1992 with <br />the City of West Fargo for municipal court transfer cases. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLES AND BINGO, Chaffee Summer Recreation. Davenport <br />Moravian Church <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br />raffle and bingo permits for Chaffee Summer Recreation with <br />bingo being held November 16, 1991; January 18, 1992; and <br />February 8, 1992; and a raffle being held March 7, 1992, at <br />Chaffee Public School; and to approve a raffle permit for <br />Canaan Moravian Church Sunday School to be held December 1, <br />1991, at Canaan Moravian Church, Davenport. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. HUMAN RESOURCES OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Actions ratified <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to include a <br />policy in the personnel policy manual allowing for payroll <br />deductions for equipment needed by employees to function in <br />their positions; that the policy be posted and a copy be <br />distributed to all county employees. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
