Minutes--October 21, 1991 761 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> OCTOBER 21, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with the <br />following members present: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Alon Wieland, Steve Risher and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> order of agenda as amended, adding to the consent agenda <br /> a recommendation from the Human Resource Overview Committee <br /> to change the personnel policy manual on the rating system <br /> and adding a hand-out from the Finance Committee on jail <br /> remodeling loan. Motion carried· <br /> <br />UNITED WAY, Solicitation in County offices approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to allow <br /> United Way of Cass-Clay to solicit within the Cass County <br /> Courthouse the week of October 21, 1991. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATES ATTORNEY, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> out of state travel for Dean Wavers and Elisabeth Schiltz <br /> to attend a seminar on interviewing and interrogation in <br /> Minneapolis on December 5 and 6, 1991. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COURT TRANSFER CASES, 1991-1992 agreements with City of Fargo <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign the agreements for 1991 and 1992 with <br /> the City of Fargo for disposition of fees on municipal <br /> court transfer cases, as presented by the State's Attorney. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUDGET AMENDMENTS, Hearing set/Transfer from General to Jail Fund <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Per letter from the County Auditor, Mrs. Toussaint moved <br /> and Mr. Wieland seconded to set a hearing on budget <br /> amendments for the County Jail Fund, Road and Bridge Fund <br /> and 10 Mill Road Fund for November 18, 1991, at 3:45 PM in <br /> the Commission Room, for public comment on these budget <br /> adjustments and direct County Auditor to cause notice of <br /> <br /> <br />
