MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign a contract with Minnkota Recycling to collect recyclable materials from the Courthouse and Juvenile Justice Center at a monthly rate of $72.00, subject to the State's Attorney reviewing the contract. Mr. Shannon suggested that the money the County saved when the recycling program began be used to help pay the costs of continuing the program. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 16. PARKING LOT ON FORMER GETHSEMANE PROPERTY, Parkin~ policy followed The Auditor suggested that the Commission adopt a parking policy on the former Gethsemane Cathedral property, now owned by Cass County. MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to direct the Buildings and Grounds Department to properly sign the parking lot on the east end of the former Gethsemane property; to have the Buildings and Grounds Department notify people who use the lot by putting a flyer on the windshield of cars not having a county parking sticker explaining the county parking policy; and to direct the Cass County Sheriff's Department to enforce the parking policy in the parking lot at the east end of the former Gethsemane property starting October 21, 1991. Mr. Wieland asked County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson to prepare a notice explaining the county's parking policy for unauthorized vehicles. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 17. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve Vouchers #29308 through #32,250 and Vouchers #30,266 through #30268 for the month of October, 1991.
