Minutes--August 19, 1991 719 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 19, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Don Eckert, <br />Alon Wieland, Steve Risher and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda, amending the regular agenda to include <br /> discussion of jail air conditioning as the first item. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLES, Four Corners Wildlife Club, Norman Lutheran <br />Church, North Dakota Arabian Horse Association MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> raffle permits for Four Corners Wildlife Club at the Embden <br /> Senior Citizens Center on November 25, 1991; for Norman <br /> Lutheran Church at Kindred on November 3, 1991; and for the <br /> North Dakota Arabian Horse Association at the youth, <br /> director's residence, RR 2, Kindred, on September 22, 1991. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR ANNUAL DISBURSEMENTS, Approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> disbursement of the following 1991 road and street repair <br /> funds: City of Page--$4§l.00; City of Reile's Acres-- <br /> $4§§.00; City of Ayr--$6§.00. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Under County Road 10 at Casselton MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a <br /> utility permit for the City of Casselton to bore and place <br /> a 6" water main under Cass County Road #10. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Ratify board action of August 5, 1991 MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that Social <br /> Services be authorized to classify, recruit for and fill a <br /> position to provide day care licensing and special needs <br /> case management. This position will be authorized <br /> contingent on receipt of 100% state/federal funds for the <br /> year 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
