Minutes--July 15, 1991 709 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JULY 15, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon turned the Chair over to Commissioner Toussaint <br />who called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with the following members <br />present: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon, <br />Commissioners Alon Wieland and Steve Risher were absent due to their <br />attendance at the NACo Convention, <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> of the July 1, 1991, regular meeting and July 11, 1991, <br /> special meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda. Notion carried. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Lila Hazemann <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and <br /> file Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument to Lila Hazemann <br /> for warrant #26121 and authorize the auditor to issue a <br /> duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS, Sharon Toussaint and Don Eckert reappointed to Social <br />Service Board <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to reappoint <br /> Sharon Toussaint and Don Eckert to the Social Service <br /> Board. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />TRANSFER OF FUNDS, To Jail Remodeling Fund MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to transfer funds <br /> budgeted for the ongoing remodeling in the Courthouse and <br /> Jail from the General Fund to the County Jail Remodeling <br /> Fund ($305,000). On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Paul White of Social Services to attend a <br /> workshop in Breckenridge, Colorado from August 7-10, 1991. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
