Comm. Minutes--June I?, 1991 696 An organizational meeting of theC_.aos~ County.. Redistricting Board will be held at o ~:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 1991, in the County Commission meeting room. In addition to the Chairman of the County Commission and the States Attorney, other members of the redistricting board are as follows: Leslie Roach (elected by Cass County Township Officer's Association), George Wendling (elected as representative for cities other than the largest city in Cass County) and John Korsmo (representative of the largest city, Fargo). 25. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES (NACO), Cass County representatives MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that Commissioners Alon Wieland and Steve Risher represent Cass County for voting privileges at the NACo convention in July in Salt Lake City, Utah. Motion carried unanimously. 26. HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Request for additional 1991 funds MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the Chairman write a letter to the Cass County Historical Society, in response to their letter of June 10, 1991, saying the 1991 budget is set and the Commission is unable to appropriate $5,000 in general funds as requested. Motion carried unanimously. 27. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: letter from National Association of Counties that Cass County received the 1991 NACo Achievement Award for the County Model Project and will receive a certificate at the nation, al convention in Salt Lake City in July; letters of commendation from The North Dakota Consensus Council, Fargo Chamber of Commerce and Linda Gaughan, West Fargo City Commissioner, on the Model Project; notice from County Engineer Don Richards of a bridge closing eight miles east and one mile south of Ayr, and plans to replace it with a low water crossing; copy of letter to Briarwood city auditor from county director of tax equalization on matters discussed at June 4th meeting; Enderlin Rural Fire Protection District estimated income and expense statement for 1992; United Blood Services thanking Cass County for support of the recent blood drive held June 4th; - Personnel action report and job vacancy report for May, 1991; - Officer's reports for May, 1991; - Bank of North Dakota 1990 annual report;
