Comm. Minutes--June 17, 1991 688 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO ~EAD. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JUNE 17, 1991 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with the following members present: Steve Risher, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Gene Shannon. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the June 3rd regular meeting and the June 4th board of equalization meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the order of the agenda adding consideration of a contract with Stutsman County for boarding prisoners. Motion carried. STATES ATTORNEY, Staff commendation for Shirley Sorensen MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a letter of commendation to Shirley Sorensen, Administrative Secretary in the State's Attorney's Office, as read by Mrs. Toussaint. On roll call. vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Out of sta'te travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out of state travel for Deputy Sheriff Budd Warren to attend a training seminar in St. Paul on June 25-2?, 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. HUMAN RESOURCES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out of state travel for Renata Gehrke to attend the American Payroll Association Conference in Minneapolis on July 15- 16, 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out of state travel for Bev Bohn to attend a treatment planning meeting in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, on June 21, 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
