Minutes--June 3, 1991 678 <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />JUNE 3, 1991 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint, Alon Wieland, and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes <br />of the May 20, 1991, regular meeting and May 20, 1991, <br />special meetings on personnel policy manual review and 1991 <br />department work plans, be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Approved as amended <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br />agenda as amended to include after the last regular item <br />consideration of out of state travel for the Sheriff's <br />Department and appointment of Judicial Magistrate for <br />County Court. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR, Staff commendation for Kathy Hogan <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br />letter of commendation to Kathy Hogan for her efforts <br />regarding children's psychiatric services, as read by <br />Commissioner Toussaint. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, St. Benedict's Church <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve a <br />raffle permit for St. Benedict's Church, Horace, ND on <br />September 15, 1991, at St. Benedict's Church. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. STATES ATTORNEY, Out of state travel approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br />out of state travel for Welfare Fraud Investigator <br />Elisabeth Schiltz to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on July 9- <br />10, 1991; and for Assistant States Attorney Constance <br />Cleveland to Seattle, Washington, on August 27-September 1, <br />1991. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. DATA PROCESSING, Out of state travel approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br />out of state travel for Jerry Skjonsby and Mike Steiner to <br />attend AUDIX system administration class in Chicago, <br />Illinois, on July 8-12, 1991. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
